PRESS RELEASE
The City of Havana, a day of September, 2000. Sydney’s Olympics Games are taking place; Mauricio is having his seventieth birthday. A man alone and devastated by the sudden loss of his wife. The story is narrated through the revision of the passages that have made up Mauricio’s existence. There is a mixture of retrospectives and current events that encompass key moments that defined his path until that day. The personal dimensions are entwined with Cuba’s social context of the 20th century last decade, marked with profound political, economic and social changes that shook the ethical and human basis of these generations of the 21st Century.
