After panicking while being stopped by the cops in Queens, NY, illegal immigrant Aldemar Correa flees on foot, becoming separated from girlfriend Angelica Blandon. Having just arrived in the US, he’s unsure how to find her and, scared of being caught, takes refuge in a Colombian restaurant after the owner’s wife takes pity on him.
