Welcome XIX Latin-American Film Festival
Spain and Portugal
September 16- October 7

The Latin-American Film Festival Spain and Portugal came back this year in his nineteenth edition. The Festival is organized by the Ibero-American Cultural Attaches Association in Washington DC (IACAA) and the American Films Institute (AFI) with the collaboration of the Inter-American Develop med Bank (IDB).

Our mission is to showcase and nurture existing and emerging creative Ibero-American talent while serving as a springboard and catalyst for the promotion of Ibero-American films and filmmakers, bring awareness through film, the most influential audiovisual medium of our time, the richness and diversity of the Ibero-American culture and invest in our community and develop an audience for our works.

The festival will be held at the historic AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring from September 17 through October 7, and the Gala Theater in Washington DC.

Opening night will be help September 16 at the Inter-American Development Bank Opening remarks and DC premiere of Sleep Dealer .
